All of the airport bars/lounges have the same kind of feel to them. I get so plastered at the airport that I can kind of feel drunk just looking at that pic.

My wife gets free verandas as super schwanky resorts all the time (#hustle ) and we always get looks from the staff wondering why these kids covered in highly questionable tattoos are hanging out with the Chads and Margos of the world.

That looks pretty sweet, except for the implication that you’re boarding a plane that leaves that place (San Jose CR I presume?).

My dad’s cousin’s mom (my grandmother’s brother ’s ex) has a farm in Costa Rica where my dad’s cousins grew up. Unfortunately, probably one step too far in association to wangle a visit.

My dad has like a million Marriott points from his old business travel, but never goes anywhere. So about 10 years ago he decided to blow some points in Rome at the Hilton. Every afternoon when it was hot/humid as balls, my parents, the wife and I just sat up in the penthouse and ate free prosciutto and drank free beer before heading out for the night. The place is set up for you to hang out for 20-30 minutes, but we’d just sit up there overlooking the city for several hours while getting tanked. Best real estate in town.
